Who makes Bellwether

Zac White owns Bellwether outright. No party, campaign, candidate, political committee or outside investor owns any part of it, and none of them sees a forecast before readers do.

Bellwether is published in partnership with Noosphere. Its address is on Noosphere's domain, and Noosphere publishes Bellwether's forecasts and polls in its coverage. Noosphere does not own Bellwether and has no say in the model or its numbers.

The forecast is the model's alone, and the way every number is made is written out in full in the methodology, including the parts that are not fitted yet.
